Ask the assistants what buyers ask.
AI assistants are one of the three places people search, with Google and Maps. Every week bitSEO asks ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude the questions your buyers ask, and records who they name.
Named, or not named.
For each question you see which assistants named the business and which named a rival. The raw answer behind each cell is kept.
| Question | ChatGPT | Gemini | Perplexity | Claude |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Who is the best emergency plumber in Leeds? | Named | Not named | Named | Not named |
| Who fixes a leaking boiler quickly? | Not named | Not named | Named | Not named |
| Which plumber near me is trusted? | Named | Not named | Not named | Not named |
Three numbers, each with its sample.
- Mention rate
- How often the business is named in the answers.
- Citation rate
- How often its own pages are cited as a source.
- Share of voice
- Its mentions against the competitors’ in the same answers.
- Samples
- Each question is asked three times, because one answer is not a measurement.
- API answers
- They come through each assistant’s API and can differ from what the apps show. An assistant is measured only when its key has been set.
- Raw answers
- Kept exactly as received for 12 months. An answer that could not be read is left out, never counted as a miss.
Questions
Which assistants are measured?
ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity and Claude. An assistant is measured only when its key has been set for the organization. One without a key is not measured, and the page says so.
Are API answers the same as the apps?
Not always. They can differ from what the apps show, so every number states its sample.
Can it make an assistant name my business?
No. bitSEO measures what the assistants say and drafts fixes for your website. It cannot control their answers, and no mention is guaranteed.
How long does a run take?
Up to an hour. Runs repeat every week.
